This is the American Canoe Association (ACA) Level 4 Swiftwater Rescue Course. This two-day, 16 hour training includes a TON of hands-on learning and practice. For full details on the rescue curriculum please visit this link. We will be using a mix of classroom instruction, dryland practice, and on-water scenarios to practice skills. Generally speaking, our mornings will be “dry” and our afternoons will be in the water. This training is all about gaining more comfort and confidence in a river environment so we can learn, play, explore, and share awesome experiences with others.

We stand by the education we provide. If you’re not satisfied with your experience, we’ll refund your money. It’s as simple as that.

*Food & lodging are not provided as part of the course tuition. This course will take place on the rivers around Millinocket, ME. We are happy to recommend camping and lodging options.
