Join us for our 2026 Frosty KAT!
Whether you’re planning to ski, snowshoe, or cheer on your friends from the sidelines, come out and support our efforts to grow outdoor access and opportunities across the Katahdin Region.
Race Details
Ski Race - this will be a 10k route that can be competed either skate or classic skiing, but must be completed solo. Fastest times win! Awards for both top male and top female finishers.
Snowshoe Relay - Want to compete as a team? The snowshoe event will be a 1 mile lap that must be completed 4 times. This can be done solo, or as a team up to 4. Awards for top male, top female, and top team (consisting of 2-4 members) finishers.
Can’t decide? Race both! Register as normal for both races, then follow up with race staff via email to receive a $15 discount for your entry fee. To complete this, please email baileigh@outdoorsi.org

$35 per person
$60 for a team of 2
$95 for a team of 3-4.
Youth racers 16 and under always race free!

Volunteer: Sign up to help volunteer at this event! Email dan@outdoorsi.org to be added to our volunteer list.
Enjoy: Grab a pizza, pull up a seat by the firepit, and help cheer on our racers! Or, grab some skis or snowshoes and go enjoy the trails on your own accord.
